A huge welcome to my site, come right in and make yourself at home.
I truly love life and fun and am keen to talk about the things that make me (and others) happy. Whether you are the same or could do with some positivity or ideas for new things to try, come and join me. I have lots of friends in my life but am always looking for more - you can never have too many friends! (and if you say you have none as it's too difficult at your age - it's easier than you think)
As a brief introduction, I'm English and live in London, which is where I was born. Apart from a stint living abroad, I've lived in London all my life. I love English food, literature, and culture. As is no doubt the case in all countries, England has traditions, recipes and customs which were huge at one time, but have now all but died out. I love to shine a spotlight on these.
Sometimes, I pursue new projects (one of my "hare-brained ideas", as everyone else puts it!) The results might be surprisingly good and therefore worth posting about as they might help someone else, or they can be abysmal and therefore worth posting about to give you all a good laugh.
I realise life isn't all perfect, whether it's what someone is going through as an individual or the distressing things we see on the news. It can be a feeling of frustration, wanting to help but not knowing how. I'd like to think that somebody who is struggling in life could come to this site, have a good read and forget their problems, if only for an hour or so.
One more thing I'm very keen on is living offline as much as possible (she says, on her website!) The internet and social media are absolutely incredible, but I do try not to be on them too much. Perhaps you feel that way as well.
I'm no lifestyle guru, I don't have any pearls of wisdom! You won't see pictures of my perfect house, my perfect figure, my perfect finances - namely because none of it, in my case, is perfect! If I happen to come across information which I think would be useful, I'll gladly share it, but that's as far as I'll go in telling people what to do. My aim is to keep you company - when you have a break, you can grab a cup of tea and sit and have a read.
Anyway, that's enough about me for now, let's go in and sit down...
I'd love to hear from you! Whether you're keen to share your thoughts, have ideas for new things to try, or simply want to say hello, don't hesitate to drop me a line.
